The Leadership Program Selection Committee, comprised of rice industry and agribusiness leaders, is responsible for choosing the 4-5 rice producers and 2-3 individuals from rice-industry related professions that will make up the Rice Leadership Development Class. The Committee evaluates applications and recommendations and selects the finalists to be invited for in-person interviews.
- Applications are due September 6, 2024.
- Applicants must have two references submit recommendation forms by September 6, 2024.
- Finalists will be interviewed at the 2024 USA Rice Outlook Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Admissions to the Rice Leadership Development Class will be announced at the Annual Award Luncheon at the USA Rice Outlook Conference.
